Carp Fishing Rods for 15-Pound Carp or Less

If you are fishing in small lakes or ponds than chances are you need to find a rod that will hold up to 15 pound carp at the most.  The best rod in this instance is a 1-2 pound test curve rod.  If you are searching for anything larger than 15 pounds, the 1-2 pound test will not hold up.  Go for 3! This way you won’t lose the catch of the day.  Pond and lake fishing rods should come pretty standard with 1-2 pound test but if they don’t and you like the gear choose to upgrade it your self.
